 Name: Schrodinger Nicknames: Schro Species: Bakeneko Gender: Male Age: Looks to be the equiv of around mid/late twenties in human form Personality: Schrodinger has a bit of a hero's complex. Or perhaps it's just that he's one confused cat. Either or, really, given the fact he didn't start out being particularly nice to others. In fact, upon awakening, Schrodinger was a downright asshole and a mean spirited jerk. This mostly stemmed from the situation of his awakening, really, and had little to do with his core personality. Bakenekos are usually 'born' (per se), from the death of a cat that has lived over 10 years and reached a certain weight (which might indicate a nice, full life). Unfortunately, upon awakening, Schrodinger did not remember his past, his life, or even his name; all he felt was a consumming, bitter anger towards humankind, and given the fact that feeling seemed to be the only thing he could remember and trust... that's what he went with. He used his newly adquired powers of illusion, eatting things larger than his size and dream walking to terrify or otherwise harm humans. Alas, such endeavors did not particularly make him feel better, nor did it make his anger relent in any way, shape or form. He did, however, soon enough notice through a particularly ironic series of events where he endded up helping a child that... using his powers for good did in fact make him feel better. If anything, Schrodinger learned from his percieved mistakes and has since tried to use his power for good, albeit with... varying degrees of success given that his looks (even in human form) and his disposition tend to creep out most people. He is particularly drawn towards children, both because they seem to not find him nearly as scary and because he still remembers that one child that made him turn over the probervial new leaf. He spends most of his time when in human form masquerading as a magician of sorts. Personality in few words: Creepy, manic, fun loving, hero complex, chaotic good. Ability: His 'true' form is feline, but he is able to shapeshift into human form (and spends quantious amounts of time in said form). He is able to create illusions that range from 'ghost fire', to hiding the fact half of his body is... well, look at his cat form. As a bakeneko, he is also able to devore things much larger than him, and his primary food source is poison. To get a good idea of his powers, it's probably a good idea to read the Bakeneko Wikipedia article. Notes: Despite the fact Schrodinger can forge illusions to 'hide' how odd half of his body looks (both in human and cat form), his powers are not strong enough to 'vanish' all trace of it. When in human form, he covers all of his skin up except his face, because despite his magic, half of his body appears to be severely burned, or scarred under said clothes. In cat form, he can also hide his real 'self', but he still as having half of his body severely scarred or burned. He figures it's okay; beggars can't be chosers.
